Brea Souders in conversation with Yuzuru Murakami at POETIC SCAPE, Tokyo

Brea Souders will be joining art writer Yuzu Murakami to discuss Another Online Pervert, a book derived from a series of conversations between artist Brea Souders and a female online chatbot. Within the space of their correspondence, dazzlingly surreal and poetic tangents are combined with the material realities of the bot and its connections to capitalism, the future of technology, and the slippery divide between being and non-being. The event will include a book signing.

Llibreria Finestres presents a conversation between the architects Eva Prats (Flores i Prats) and Anna Puigjaner (MAIO) and Soraya Smithson, artist and daughter of Alison and Peter.

Join us to celebrate the launch of Alison and Peter Smithson's Upper Lawn, Solar Pavilion, a rich and immersive document of the lives they lived at the weekend home they built in English countryside for their young family. A panel including Ingrid Schroder (director of the AA), Paul Clarke (Belfast School of Architecture), Niall Hobhouse (founder of Drawing Matter), and Sam Johnson-Schlee (geographer and author) will discuss this illuminating personal project and the far-reaching influence of the Smithsons today.
