Join Jamie Hawkesworth at Micamera, Milan, where he will be signing copies of his new book The British Isles, an account of thirteen years of life across the United Kingdom through a sprawling sequence of portraits and landscapes.

Artist Oliver Chanarin joins curator Erin O’Toole to discuss Chanarin’s installation The Apparatus, currently on show at SFMOMA. As they trace the evolution of the piece, they touch on August Sander’s portraiture,  the obscured mechanics of online commerce, and data-collecting images that ‘look back’ at us.
