Petra Blaisse will be discussing her forthcoming book, Art Applied, a kaleidoscopic overview of her work across interior, exhibition, and landscape design, as part of Harvard University’s Margaret McCurry Lectureship in the Design Arts series.

Tuesday 26 March
Join Richard Billingham at the ICA for a very special event to mark the launch of the new edition of Ray’s a Laugh, including a screening of his feature-film debut Ray & Liz, an unsettling family portrait set in Thatcher-era Britain. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Richard Billingham and writer and curator Sacha Craddock. The launch will also include a book signing.

Philippa Snow will be in conversation with Rose Easton to celebrate the launch of her latest book Trophy Lives: On the Celebrity as an Art Object. Join us for an evening of discussion and drinks.

To celebrate the launch of Anonymous Objects: Inscrutable Photographs and the Unknown (SPBH Editions), Kim Beil will be talking to curator Susan Bright about the ways in which the unidentifiable things in photographs point towards larger questions about the limits of knowledge. Drinks will follow the conversation.

Chaired by Financial Times architecture critic Edwin Heathcote, this discussion hosted by The Architecture Foundation will consider the history and continued relevance of a quintessential London housing type: the mansion block. The evening will include contributions from Karin Templin, author of the newly published At Home in London: The Mansion Block; housing expert Claire Bennie; and architects Richard Lavington (Maccreanor Lavington) and Alfredo Carraballo (Allies & Morrison).
